Description:

Good Time is a story of two brothers, Constantine “Connie” Nikkas and his younger brother Nick. When a botched bank robbery lands Nick on Riker’s Island, Connie – cops still on his tail – becomes determined to break him out at all costs. The clock is ticking; it all begins with bail money Connie can’t obtain, and only gets worse from there, as the night takes many violent, unexpected detours. Connie’s all-nighter break-out attempt goes from bad, to worse, to irrevocably disastrous in a matter of a few twilight hours… And the night is still young…

Good Time is a high-wire exercise in intensity.  It’s another maddeningly bleak vision of New York City’s underbelly, nonetheless beaming with humanity, and authenticity.
