VOLUNTEERS
Helping with many facets of the preparation and execution of our events and projects, volunteers experience the magic, energy, and enthusiasm synonymous with the cinematic arts. Volunteers are needed at the theatres, Festival office, box office, events – and in many other areas too!
As a Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) volunteer, you will play an integral role in the Festival organization and will help us in our endeavors to advance the vitality of independent Canadian and international film, filmmakers and audiences.
Whether you are a returning volunteer or a prospective first-time volunteer, please read the following information carefully before submitting your availability information.
Expectations:- Work a minimum of 2 days during the Festival
- Show up for your scheduled shifts as planned
- Attend one or more volunteer meetings as needed
- Check your email frequently as it will be our primary means of communication with you
- Be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks
- Be friendly, helpful and professional
- Dress comfortably and wear black
- Give reasonable notice if you must cancel a shift
